Chilli beef noodles

This recipe is great to cook in a big batch for meal
prepping to save time cooking if you’re on a busy schedule and find it hard to
fit time in for cooking as often. If your not the biggest fan of red meat the beef could be substituted
with another type of meat whether that be chicken or prawns or
even more veg as a vegetarian option if you’d prefer.
Ingredients – for 2/3 servings
Beef 375g beef slices
Salt + pepper roughly
1 teaspoon each
Chinese 5 spice 1
tablespoon
Garlic 3 gloves
Red chilli 1 ( keep the seeds in if you prefer it spicier or remove if not)
Chilli sauce 2
tablespoons
Soy sauce 4 tablespoons
Noodles 230g

Instead of regular
noodles I would replace them with oomi noodles which you can buy from Tesco or Morrisons which are higher in protein with over 12g in a serving, a gluten free option and
only have around 7g of carbs in a serving which is around 75% less carbs than
regular noodles.
preperation:
1. Cut up onion into thin slices and dice up
the red chilli.
2. Fry the beef for a couple of minutes with
the salt, pepper and 5 spice. Take out of the fryin pan and set aside
3. In the same frying pan add the garlic red
chilli for a few minutes before stirring in the chilli sauce and soy sauce
4. Add the beef and the noodles and mix in
with the other ingredients for a few more minutes
5. Divide it up into your separate servings, can
serve with more red chilli and spring onion but that optional
